Priscilla was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has 30 plus years in the healthcare field including experience as a registered nurse, certified diabetes educator and registered dietitian in the clinical, home care, and community settings. 
Some of her experiences include: volunteering as an nutrition educator to residents of a homeless shelter; refurbishing computers and facilitating technology classes; serving as a nutrition educator of parents, teachers and students; teaching diabetes education and weight management classes to adults; and providing nutrition counseling to women with diabetes in pregnancy.
These experiences have fueled Priscilla's interest in the role of nutrition, physical activity, and technology in disease prevention and treatment, especially for chronic diseases such as obesity and diabetes. 
Priscilla is the mother of two young men. In her spare time she enjoys line dancing, movies, music, being at the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
